Feathers
Silent Song 3 was created from natural feathers using an ancestral technique rooted in Mexican pre-Hispanic traditions. Each feather was carefully positioned according to its shape, texture and individual character to form a rhythmic surface. Ramon Gamboa’s interpretation of Es Devlin’s design engages in a dialogue with tradition, identity and nature. With the feather being a symbolic bridge between the human and the spiritual, the composition explores the material and the ethereal, inviting viewers to experience stillness and inner connection.
