Mulberry paper
These jars by Young Soon Lee were crafted using the traditional Korean jiseung paper weaving technique. Strips of hanji paper were torn and rolled into strands, twisted into cords, and finally woven into the final forms. Upcycling discarded books, the works transform fragile materials into durable vessels, embodying care, repetition and the quiet strength of slow craftsmanship.
