Horsehair embellished jar

This is a spherical shaped ceramic jar with striking geometric ornamentation on the lid. The body of the jar is finished in a light cream colour and embellished with horsehair, which appears as dark lines across the surface. The lid is a finished in a solid deep dark brown colour. The pieces were handmade on the pottery wheel.
