These jars by Jian Yoo were crafted from contemporary composite materials. Natural mother-of-pearl was applied on the surfaces using traditional Korean techniques, and finished with a multi-layer coating process. With mother-of-pearl patterns symbolically embodying flows of emotion in time, the pieces reveal layers of memory of an inner universe.
