Cocoon Top series II, III, IV
This series features 3D jiseung sculptures formed by stacking seven to eight traditional Korean shrimp-paste storage jars into a tall structure. The paper cords used to weave the vessels are made by twisting hanji into double layers. Each unit varies slightly in form, pattern and size, creating subtle differences within the overall composition.
