Neither Fix Space Nor Bind Time

This installation by Burçak Bingöl comprises a glazed ceramic vessel, glaze pieces and a metal frame, all joined to form a free-standing composition. Exploring the tradition of ceramics through its enduring transformation as a cultural symbol, the work evokes a fluid passage in which time and place momentarily solidify.
