Council of Ancestors

This work by Kobina Adusah was entirely handcrafted, from sourcing the raw clay to shaping, carving, firing and assembly. The surface features a pattern language distinctive to the artist’s practice. Serving as a site for mediation between past and present, the piece gives form to inherited narratives, both personal and universal.
