Le messager des feuilles éternelles

This sculpture by Hamado Zoundi was cast in bronze using the lost-wax technique, with direct impressions taken from real leaves. The surface was finished with a dark green patina. Depicting a wading bird standing on a water lily, the piece transforms the fleeting form of a leaf into the body of the animal. This poetic union reflects on the interconnectedness of living beings and evokes the need to protect the natural world.
