Stoneware, Glaze, Oxide
This sculpture by Tomonari Hashimoto was hand built from clay and glazed with mixed metal oxides. Fired using carbonisation with buckwheat husks, the process produced subtle variations in surface texture and colour. Inviting contemplation through direct physical encounter, the piece fosters personal reflection without dictating a specific interpretation.
