Join Yaël Malignac and Guillaume Descoings in this workshop that explores the art of porcelain casting and finishing, using moulds and decorative techniques to create unique objects. Open to all, regardless of experience, this course aims to make participants independent in exploring this technique. The skills covered in the course include preparing slip, exploring alternative moulds, understanding casting principles, applying greenware, managing the drying phase, and exploring various decorating and finishing techniques, such as Mishima, slip trailing, engraving, and Dremel tool applications. The workshop also includes a demonstration of electrical assembly and introduces the concept of single firing. Please note that this course lasts five days, each session lasting seven hours per day, and costs 600 EUR per person.
