Lacquered panel masterclass near Moscow

In the Fedoskino factory they create not only boxes and caskets but wonderful lacquered miniature panels as well. In this masterclass you'll have the chance to paint your own, which you could use to decorate your home or give as a special present. A seasoned Fedoskino artisan will guide you through the famous three-layer painting technique with their special signature brushes, and reveal some of the precious secrets of making and painting the traditional papier maché lacquered objects, which have more than 200 years of history. The size of the panel is 70 mm by 100 mm. The finished panel will then be fitted into a wooden frame at the factory.
