In this session, Helen introduces the group to sgraffito glass powder drawings. Participants learn how to weigh out and mix material to make a kiln-forming mould for glass. They are then shown how to work into this mould and to pack and fire glass to produce their own unique powdered glass drawing. This glass work can be hung, framed, or wall-mounted, after firing by the participant. These are usually ready for collection 2-3 days after the class or can be posted. All materials are included. The experience is suitable both for intermediate glassmakers and beginners of the craft.
