Have you always wanted to create your own book? Now it is possible, thanks to this bookbinding course held by Lapo Giannini and Michiko Kuwata. In the course of four lessons lasting 2.5 hours each, participants will have the opportunity to bind a book entirely by hand. The starting point is the selection of the paper: the pages are cut to size and, using a bone folder, they are folded by hand and assembled into signatures (a group of four sheets folded down the centre), which are stacked on top of each other and then sewn on a frame. Once the book is sewn, the chosen hard cover is prepared and mounted. The price includes all materials. Reservation is compulsory.
