A 4-hour interactive book making course

Through this workshop, participants will learn how to make a book from scratch, using only paper waste provided by Libri Finti Clandestini. Unlike traditional bookbinding courses, this workshop focuses on teaching techniques that can be repeated at low cost without needing several technical tools. It is an interactive course: each participant will have an active role in choosing paper texture and colour, and devising the shape and size of the book. Participants will be shown the practical methods and techniques to make their own book, starting with the creation of a book block, in which the sections will be bound individually with three-point stitching, then held together with glue and gauze.
