Make your own book with discarded paper in Milan

Through this workshop, participants will learn how to make a book from scratch, using only paper waste provided by Libri Finiti Clandestini. Unlike traditional bookbinding courses, this workshop focuses on teaching techniques that can be repeated at low cost without needing several technical tools. It is an interactive course: each participant will have an active role in choosing paper texture and colour, and devising the shape and size of the book. Participants will be shown the practical methods and techniques to make their own book, starting with the creation a book block, in which the sections will be bound individually with three-point stitching, then held together with glue and gauze.
