Bring figures to life in this pop-up book course in Milan

This workshop is entirely dedicated to the construction of 3D paper mechanisms, known as pop-ups. Starting with tests on paper, participants will be shown how to create 3D mechanisms using the kirigami technique. Once they learn the technique, participants will be given a choice of a variety of paper supplied by Libri Finiti Clandestini, and will be guided in the creation of an accordion-based booklet. Finally, they will be shown how to attach figures correctly, so that they come to life when opening the book. The process requires care and attention, which is why the workshop has a limited capacity of 3 people.
