The weaving atelier created by Le Costantine Foundation – inside their magnificent country estate close to Otranto – is both a professional learning centre and an opportunity for anyone willing to experience an introduction to this ancient craft. While the professional courses are specifically geared to the women of the area, embodying the mission of the Foundation to empower them and create a fly-wheel for the growth and development of the territory, other workshops are open to anyone interested. The 20-hour workshop represents and introduction to this craft for beginners, who will learn the tools of the craft and the basic workings, on which they can build their knowledge.
