Wool, Yarns, Nail
This sculpture by Joshua Michael Adokuru was created from cotton thread, stretched and fixed to a wooden panel with nails to form a dense network of lines defining the figures. The tension and overlapping of the threads build texture and movement within the piece. Reflecting the bond between brothers and their mother, the work explores family, memory, identity and the emotional bond shared across generations.
