Le grand nid d'oiseaux

This sculpture by Eddy Mayombo was crafted from reclaimed cardboard paper, drawing on the principles of Japanese modular origami. Thousands of individual folded elements were assembled to form the large nest-like structure. Revealing unexpected beauty in commonplace materials, the work celebrates patience, craftsmanship and the creative potential of reuse.
