Textile, Metal
This installation was designed by Sara Ricciardi Studio, featuring textile craftsmanship by Antica Fabbrica Passamaneria Massia Vittorio 1843. Tassels, decorative knotwork and macramé were assembled onto a metal framework. Tuned tubular elements were placed inside the structure to generate sound through ambient movement. Inspired by the intricate root systems of mangrove forests, the work explores sound as a relational phenomenon. It creates a participatory soundscape in which listening and presence are a shared experience.
