Noface Face Jug (Three Fortune Cookies)

Noface Face Jug (Three Fortune Cookies) is constructed using both hand building and wheel throwing techniques. The central vessel is embellished with fortune cookies, banana peels and mandu attached as detailed elements. These forms are glazed with yellow underglaze and further drawn with rotten spots and dotted markings. The surface is first treated with crystal glaze and then overdrawn with a fish-scale pattern, creating luminous highlights.
