Green Haetae is part of the Haetae series. It is a hand built and wheel thrown ceramic sculpture that reimagines the mythical Korean creature Haetae. Flame-like wings extend from the figure and attach to the stand as an integral part of the piece. The surface is drawn with blue and green underglaze, referencing the Blue Willow pattern, the Blue Onion pattern, and the Korean minhwa style.
