Banana Dragon is a stacked, two-vessel ceramic sculpture embellished with banana peels, Korean dumplings (mandu) and ribbons. Constructed from both porcelain and earthenware, the work incorporates varied slips and is drawn with underglaze. Using green and blue underglazes, images of a dragon rendered in the style of Korean folk painting (minhwa) are depicted across the surface.
