Weaving for beginners in Athens

Christiana Vardakou invites anyone who is curious to try their hand at weaving to her introductory workshop. The experience begins with making a simple weave on a small floor loom, then Christiana will adjust the course according to participants' desires. Whether it is learning how to weave from scratch or exploring techniques such as twill, lace weaving and 3D textures, participants can choose an experience that is truly their own. Everyone gets to make an item that they can take home, such as a scarf, a table runner or a piece of fabric to create an accessory. Christiana offers a wide range of yarns, colours and patterns that allow the creation of a unique woven piece. The workshop's duration can be extended upon request. Please note that all materials, snacks and refreshments are included in the price.
