Learn the basics of plant imprinting at La Robbia, the laboratory of textile dyer Maurizio Savoldo, in the heart of Sardinia. Maurizio and his partner Federica will teach participants how to eco-print natural fibres, with wild and home-grown flowers and leaves. It is an easy and creative method for decorating clothes and it is safe both for the environment and the health, as no chemicals are involved. After a brief introduction to the subject, participants will try their hand at the technique, choosing their favourite plants and learning to transfer their beautiful shapes and colours onto fabric, fixing them so that they do not fade with washing. During the two-day course, participants will print one or two scarves to take home with them.
