The renowned Stamperia Artigiana Marchi offers the opportunity to participate in a workshop held by master artisan Gabriele Marchi to those interested in the centuries-old craft of hand block printing with rust. After a visit to the ancient mangle used to prepare the fabric and a historical overview of the craft, Gabriele will illustrate the various phases of the process, from preparing the fabric to designing a piece, to hand printing by means of a carved block and fixing the colour. At the end of the demonstration, participants will be able to print a fabric item. The price for adults is 30 euros per person.
