Visit a silk atelier in Soufli

In keeping with the family’s desire to pass on the silk tradition of Soufli, the Bouroulitis atelier is essentially an interactive place of exchange. Established in two connected houses, it is directly adjacent to a shop and a folklore museum. The guided tour takes visitors on a journey of discovery to see the fabrics coming to life in the workshop to admiring the finished pieces displayed in the shop. Participants then have the chance to explore the folklore museum complements to see photographs, traditional costumes, looms, and various objects revealing Soufli in the olden days. At the end of the tour, visitors can discover a small space where silkworms are grown.
