Francisco Carrera Iglesias, skilled in embroidering for religious and secular institutions across Spain, invites visitors for a tour of his workshop. Francisco will start the tour by diving into the origin and tradition of Sevillian gold embroidery. After the short introduction, Francisco will explain the process of embroidery, from design and assembly to the techniques and fabrics on which it is applied. He will also demonstrate various materials and finished projects. The tour takes place every Tuesday from 11:00 to 14:00, and must be booked. Other days available by appointment only.
