Creative ceramic workshops in Porto

Artisan Clara Rêgo proposes a creative 3-hour ceramics workshop in her atelier nestled in Porto. During the course, participants will make a basic individual ceramic piece using one or several hand building techniques such as coiling, along with trying some carving and sculpting, before painting with engobes. Under Clara's guidance, each student will develop their creative vision and apply shapes, textures and details to make their piece unique. After the workshop the pieces will be fired by Clara, and the participant will have the final piece delivered or sent by post to their address. Please note that this experience costs 50 EUR per person and requires booking in advance.

It will also be possible to have a go at tilemaking. Under Clara's guidance, each student will develop their creative vision and apply shapes, textures and details to make their piece unique. The ceramic pieces will be fired by Clara, and shipped to the participant's address. At the end of the hands-on workshop, Clara hosts a relaxing wine tasting moment with wines from the region. Please note that this experience costs 60 EUR per person and requires booking in advance.

During the first course, participants will make a basic individual ceramic piece using one or several hand-building techniques such as coiling, along with trying some carving and sculpting. Under Clara's guidance, each student will develop their creative vision and apply shapes, textures and details to make their piece unique. The piece will later be left to dry naturally before being fired and glazed the following week, during the second day of the course. Please note the first part of this experience lasts 3 hours and the second session lasts 2 hours. The experience costs 90 EUR per person and requires booking in advance.
