Historic hat workshop tour in Rome

Patrizia Fabri welcomes visitors to discover her historical workshop, where hats of all shapes for men and women are handmade to the highest standards. Visitors are introduced to the history of the workshop and explore the history of hats, seasoned with many interesting hints and anecdotes. Visitors are then shown the raw materials for making a hat, from the classic felt to other materials, and the wooden moulds on which they are constructed. A practical demonstration of making a hat is presented by a skilled milliner. At the end of the tour, a group photo is taken of the visitors and the workshop team, each wearing a hat chosen from the collection.
