The story of Martinato is a family history. First there was Mariella Martinato, a veteran in the fashion industry who founded a workshop in the Veneto region, specialising in the making of leather accessories crafted by local artisans of excellence. The second generation was her son Maurizio, who brought new energy and expertise from his experience abroad and business studies. Maurizio created an in-house design team and extended the product offering into travel, beauty care and grooming segments. At this time, the workshop began to experiment with materials such as horn, galalith and wood, while staying true to its original creative DNA.
Today, Martinato produces leather washbags, and the utensils that go with them: hair combs and brushes, shaving gear and toothbrushes, to name a few. Private customers and a variety of luxury hotels and boutiques, from hair and barber salons, to concept and department stores, find the quality and innovation in style they seek in Martinato's objects.
