In the colours of the Mediterranean

Located on the edge of the Amalfi Coast, the Francesco De Maio manufacturer was founded in 1963 near an ancient village known for the production of ceramics. In fact, the company is the heir to Vietri’s ancient ceramic tradition, which dates back more than six centuries. To this day, it preserves the cultural, artistic and craft heritage of ceramic art. With passion and professionalism, its master decorators continue to create hand decorated majolica tiles made of high quality Italian materials that reinterpret the history and innovate ceramics with new moods and design trends.

Ceramica Francesco De Maio holds the official and exclusive license to faithfully reproduce the famous 33 blue and white majolica tiles designed by Gio Ponti. Furthermore, it also has the exclusive license of the specially designed Puntini Collection by Alessandro Mendini and other creations by emerging designers. Francesco De Maio represents excellence in Italian creativity and authentic handmade majolica tiles, each of which has a unique story to tell.
