These sculptures by Zhaojing Wang were crafted using the neriage technique, in which layers of coloured clay were laminated and sliced to reveal marbled patterns. Drawing on the shared structural logic of neriage and the textile craft of Xilankapu, the pieces explore rhythm and cultural memory, requiring no additional embellishment to fully convey their own identity.
