These vessels by Hana Hillerová were created by pouring molten glass onto a chalice and shaping it freehand while still hot. The surface was then acid polished to achieve a matte finish. The pieces celebrate the creative synergy between the artist’s gesture and glass as a material. Their title pays homage to Igor Stravinsky's ballet, Rite of Spring.
