This sculpture by Tetsuya Nagata was crafted from washi paper tracings made on wooden moulds once used to make traditional Japanese sweets. The individual forms were arranged to build the final composition. Recalling the traces left behind by waves along the shoreline, the piece evokes the search for hidden treasures, and reflects on the boundaries between things.
