Mizunosora, Shizukunotsuya

This piece was made by pressing washi paper intro hand carved wooden molds. It features cherry blossoms in full bloom forming a wave, and fish swimming in the same direction. This scene of mighty creatures from Japan could be set in the ocean, on the land or in the sky.
