This bowl was turned from buckeye burl by Mike Jackofsky, and decorated using pyrography by Georgianne Jackofsky. Featuring interlocking geometric bands radiating from the opening, the piece evokes stained glass and refracted light. A dark cloud rising from the base suggests an underworld, creating a dialogue between light and darkness.
