Forest Breeze - curve

This set of hand fans is made of traditional Korean mulberry paper, Hanji. Thin bamboo ribs are placed between multiple layers of Hanji, creating a firm and durable structure. The design simplifies the form of a tree, and each sheet of paper is individually dyed to produce a gradient colour effect. The colours represent the four seasons of trees. The fan is designed to stand upright without a holder, allowing it to function as a sculptural object when not in use.
