Black goldfish with stand

Fátima Doña Molinero sculpted this miniature piece depicting a fish jumping out of a fishbowl. She created the fish using polymer clay before painting it with paints and pigments. To achieve the desired water effect, she digitally modelled the splashing parts and cast them in resin, using regular resin for the water inside the bowl. She created a digital model of the seahorse tripod and then cast a copy in resin. She used copper paint and copper oxide to create an aged verdigris effect on the tripod and gold metallic paint for the finish. The sculpture's approximate size is 2 x 2.5 x 4 cm.
