Black goldfish jumping

Fátima Doña Molinero sculpted this miniature piece, depicting a fish jumping from a tipped-over fishbowl. To create the fish, she used polymer clay and painted it with paints and pigments. To achieve the water effect, she first filmed a slow-motion video to study the shape of the splashing water. She then digitally modelled the splashes and cast them in resin, while using regular resin for the remaining water in the bowl. The sculpture's approximate size is 2 x 2.5 x 4 cm.
