Positive times

This freestanding, hand built sculptural ceramic object was created as a result and a reminder of Hennie Meyer's Covid-19 pandemic experience. The centre of the object contains a plus symbol created by spraying coloured slips on a white crawl glaze. The object’s main X shape is created by pinching a series of small squares together. The completed object conveys the sentiment of positive times, reflecting a time we had to remain positive, but preferably not test positive with the virus.
