Vase

This is a tall, elegantly shaped hand built earthenware vase. The object’s form is press-moulded, and features added flourishes of sculptural adornments glazed with a red glaze, creating an ombre effect. The vase is designed to push the boundaries of what it is to be a functional object versus an artwork whose sole purpose is to provoke thought.
