Xenobot

This three-dimensional sculpture is a replica of the shape of a xenobot, a robotically engineered human cell. The form is hand-built and all buttons are hand-moulded from coloured porcelain. The pattern grows from the ends and darkens from white to peach pink. The work was fired once at 1260°C.
