Firebirds series

From the series called Firebirds, this vibrant paper artwork is composed of many feather-like shaped strips of paper. Shades of natural white, beige, petrol blue, faded purple and dark red compose the colour palette. Different techniques were applied to the realisation of this bas-relief, including hand-cut paper, the photographic printing process of cyanotype and collage.
