This vibrant bas-relief is made of sculpted paper. The piece is composed of several small paper cuts in the shape of feathers, which are superimposed. The natural colour of the rag paper, burnt on the cut edges, and the ink-blue paper, interact with some touches of bright colours. Various techniques were applied to the making of the composition, including hand-cut paper, cyanotype – a photographic printing process – and collage.
