This piece was inspired by Giovanna Garzoni's painting. It showcases creating visual effects in embroidery. The two central artichokes on the beaded dish – one in natural green colour, the other one in purplish-white – are made of silk elements, manually dyed and formed. They are framed by the long dry-yellow leaves. The driest one is made of flax and algae fibres. The wild strawberry is a detachable brooch. The berries are made of clay and hand painted.
