Woodworking for children in Warsaw

with Anna Bera

Experience the joy of woodwork

During this workshop children independently create wooden toys. They work with full size carpentry tools such as saws, hammers and drills and learn by trial and error. Anna Bera believes that this direct contact with a piece of wood and the effort put into processing it gives children a feeling of joy and power. They build vehicles, robots and ships using unprocessed wood such as branches and stumps as well as carpentry offcuts. But this is only a starting point for individual work. Anna guides the child at every step of the way, helping them to experience the process of implementing their own idea. The workshop can accommodate 7 children aged 4 to 12, each with an accompanying adult.
