Frame weaving course in Lodz

The beginner frame weaving course is an occasion to get to know some basic weaving techniques like flat weave, soumak and knot tying. Participants also learn how to warp the frame and how to aesthetically finish a weaving. Every participant finishes the course having made their own woven wall hanging.

The advanced frame weaving course is an occasion to learn more about weaving. It’s designed for participants who already know basic weaving techniques. On the advanced course participants learn how to weave with the dovetail and pick-a-pick techniques and how to finish threads with the kilim technique. Every participant ends the course having made their own woven wall hanging.
