Violin making classes in Turin

with Yael Rosenblum

An introduction to violin making

Yael Rosenblum is a talented violinist and violist who, more than 20 years ago, decided to focus entirely on the craft of luthier. After many years in Cremona, the world capital of violin making, she moved her workshop to Turin, where she creates beautiful instruments – violins, violas, cellos– which have gained international recognition. Her week-long introduction to violin making conceived for one or two people and modulated on the actual experience of candidates, provides a full overview of this fascinating craft, with both a theoretical and hands-on approach enabling participants to learn the basics and build their first components.
