Tour a luthier’s workshop in Santiago

During this guided tour of Roberto Hernández Céspedes' workshop, visitors will have the opportunity to observe how a luthier works. Roberto's workshop includes a concert hall where musicians occasionally gather as well as an organology library. During the tour, the master luthier will do a demonstration with wood and tools, and involve the visitors who can experience the craftsmanship hands-on. "In a simple way, we teach the creative process behind crafting a string instrument," says Roberto. This tour is open to limited groups of people and is by appointment only.
