An intensive course for keen ceramicists

Focusing on hand building (coiling, pinching, soft slab building and press moulding), surface decoration (underglaze decorative techniques) and glazing, Silvia K will show participants how to develop practical and technical skills. Students will receive technical demonstrations of techniques and processes, and will be encouraged to use these techniques to make more advanced pieces of their own. The intensive course runs over four Saturdays and can be attended by beginners or those with some experience who are keen to improve existing skills and work on individual projects. All materials, firings and personal protection equipment are included.
